Lijochachen began with the profound desire of two volunteers to fulfill their spiritual duty. The original goal was to impart spiritual and psychological knowledge to children and to assist parents in their child-rearing journey. In the beginning it was a modest effort — two people, a clear calling, and an unwavering commitment to the children of the Church.ልጆቻችን የተጀመረው ሁለት በጎ ፈቃደኞች መንፈሳዊ ግዴታቸውን ለመወጣት ባላቸው ጥልቅ ፍላጎት ነው። ዋና ዓላማው ለልጆች መንፈሳዊና ሥነ-ልቦናዊ እውቀትን ማዳረስ እና ወላጆችን ልጆቻቸውን ለማሳደግ ማገዝ ነበር። ከጅምሩ ትሑት ጥረት ነበር — ሁለት ሰዎች፣ ዋጋ ያለው ጥሪ፣ ለቤተ ክርስቲያን ልጆች ማጠናጠናዊ ቁርጠኝነት።

By the grace of God and the dedication of its founders, this work gained the recognition and blessing of the Holy Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. That recognition marked a turning point — the effort moved from a grassroots initiative into a formal, church-embraced professional association. Today, Lijochachen encompasses experts from theology, child psychology, education, content creation, and family counseling. It operates with a structured framework, guided by both the faith of the Church and the standards of professional excellence.በእግዚአብሔር ጸጋና የመሥራቾቹ ቁርጠኝነት ይህ ሥራ የቅድስት የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ዕውቅናና በረከት አገኘ። ይህ ዕውቅና ወሳኝ ለውጥ ነበር — ጥረቱ ከሕዝባዊ ተነሳሽነት ወደ ይፋዊ፣ በቤተ ክርስቲያን የታቀፈ ሙያ ማኅበር ተሸጋገረ። ዛሬ ልጆቻችን ከሥነ-መለኮት፣ ሥነ-ልቦና፣ ትምህርት፣ ይዘት ፈጠራ እና የቤተሰብ ማማከር ባለሙያዎችን ያቀፈ ነው። በቤተ ክርስቲያን እምነትና ሙያዊ ብቃት ደረጃዎች ተመርቶ ሥርዓታማ ማዕቀፍ ውስጥ ይሠራል።
The name "Lijochachen" — ልጆቻችን — means "Our Children." It is not possessive in a narrow sense; it is a declaration that every Ethiopian Orthodox child is a shared responsibility, a common treasure, and a living promise of the Church's future. From Sunday School halls to diaspora homes, from digital content to professional training, Lijochachen is present wherever children and families need guidance."ልጆቻችን" ማለት ጠባብ ባለቤትነት አይደለም — እያንዳንዱ የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ልጅ የጋራ ኃላፊነት፣ የጋራ ሀብት እና የቤተ ክርስቲያን ወደፊት ሕያው ቃል ኪዳን ነው ይለናል። ከሰንበት ትምህርት ቤት አዳራሽ እስከ ዲያስፖራ ቤቶች፣ ከዲጂታል ይዘት እስከ ሙያዊ ሥልጠና — ልጆቻችን ልጆችና ቤተሰቦች መመሪያ በሚፈልጉበት ቦታ ሁሉ ይገኛል።
